Mr Eagle 11

Clerkenwell, London, 2007

Mr Eagle 11 suffered from an acute obsession with all things related to our eyes and how to take care of them. He had a collection of exactly 547 convex and concave lenses. Although he never ventured out of doors, he always carried an umbrella.

Informed by research undertaken at the library and the museum collection at the College of Optometrists in Charing Cross. Visitors were invited to enter a basement space via a spiral staircase to explore the living and working environment of this slightly shorter than average character.
