Market stall, donkey and cart

‘Rag-n-Bone any old rags and woolies’ visitors were invited to come down to the market stall on the Roman Road. There they were invited to donate something old, and tell us the story it held. In exchange they received a souvenir tea cup and saucer, or a ride on a donkey and cart. This piece of work was informed by conversations with the volunteers at the Ragged School museum who recounted tales of the old East End Rag and Bone men.
